- Analytics and advertising information: information about visits, traffic sources, page performance, ad impressions, ad interactions, and audience segments created by third-party services.
- User-generated content: comments, profile details, submitted media, messages, or other materials you choose to post or send. Public submissions may be visible to others.
- Security and fraud-prevention data: login attempts, rate-limit events, suspicious requests, blocked traffic, spam signals, and records needed to protect the Site.
- Third-party information: information received from authentication providers, analytics providers, ad partners, payment processors, email services, anti-spam services, and social platforms when you interact with those services through the Site.
We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information unless you voluntarily provide it or it is incidentally contained in content you submit. Please do not send sensitive personal information unless it is necessary.
03Cookies, Tracking, and Similar Technologies
We and our service providers may use cookies, pixels, local storage, software development tools, tags, and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember preferences, secure accounts, measure traffic, personalize content, and display ads.

- process payments, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and transaction records;
- publish and moderate user submissions;
- measure audience, content performance, ad performance, and technical performance;

We do not use personal information for unlawful discrimination, voter suppression, intimidation, or targeted political persuasion based on sensitive personal information.
05Legal Bases for Processing
Where laws such as the GDPR, UK GDPR, or similar frameworks apply, we rely on one or more of the following legal bases: consent, contract performance, legitimate interests, compliance with legal obligations, and protection of rights or safety. You may withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, but withdrawal does not affect prior lawful processing.
06Advertising, Analytics, and Google Services
We may use Google AdSense, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and similar providers. These providers may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, device identifiers, and browsing activity to provide ads, analytics, fraud prevention, and measurement. Google and other ad partners may use information from visits to this and other sites to serve personalized ads unless you opt out or unless non-personalized ads are required by law or your consent choices.
You can learn about Google’s data use at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. You can manage Google ad personalization at adssettings.google.com, and opt out of third-party vendors at optout.aboutads.info.
07When We Disclose Information
We may disclose information to:
- Service providers: hosting, security, analytics, advertising, email, payment, membership, backup, customer support, and anti-spam providers.
- Payment processors and financial partners: to process transactions, refunds, disputes, chargebacks, fraud checks, and tax records.
- Advertising and analytics partners: for ad serving, measurement, fraud prevention, and analytics, subject to applicable consent and opt-out rights.
- Public audiences: if you post comments, profile details, or other public submissions.
- Legal and safety recipients: courts, law enforcement, regulators, legal advisors, or others where disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with law, enforce terms, protect rights, prevent abuse, or respond to emergencies.
- Business-transfer parties: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar transaction, subject to reasonable confidentiality protections.
We do not sell personal information for money. Some advertising or analytics activity may be considered a “sale,” “share,” or targeted advertising under certain privacy laws. You may opt out where those laws apply.
08International Transfers
The Site is operated from the United States. If you access the Site from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States or other countries where privacy laws may differ from those in your location. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as contractual protections, consent, or other lawful transfer mechanisms.
09Data Retention
We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law.
- Server and security logs: generally up to 90 days, unless needed for investigation or security.
- Analytics data: according to analytics-provider retention settings.
- Account information: while your account is active and for a reasonable period after closure.
- Transaction, subscription, donation, tax, and accounting records: as required for business, tax, chargeback, fraud-prevention, and legal purposes.
- Comments and public submissions: until removed, deleted, anonymized, or no longer needed.
- Support and contact records: as long as needed to respond, maintain records, and protect rights.
We may keep de-identified, aggregated, or anonymized information indefinitely if it cannot reasonably identify you.
10Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, confirm, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of personal information; opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling; limit use of sensitive information; withdraw consent; appeal a decision; or lodge a complaint with a regulator.
To exercise rights, contact [email protected]. We may need to verify your request. Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted by law, but we may require proof of authority and identity verification.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights. Some requests may be denied or limited where permitted by law, including where retention is necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal claims, tax records, free expression, journalism, public interest, or compliance obligations.
11U.S. State Privacy Rights
Residents of California and certain other U.S. states may have additional rights under laws such as the CCPA/CPRA, Colorado Privacy Act, Connecticut Data Privacy Act, Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act, Utah Consumer Privacy Act, and similar laws. These may include rights to know, access, correct, delete, obtain a portable copy, opt out of sale/sharing/targeted advertising, limit sensitive personal information, and appeal.
We recognize Global Privacy Control signals where legally required. If your browser sends a valid GPC signal, we will treat it as an opt-out request for sale/sharing or targeted advertising to the extent required by applicable law.
Categories collected may include identifiers, internet or network activity, approximate geolocation, commercial information, user-generated content, inferences, and account or transaction information. Categories disclosed may include the same categories listed in this policy, disclosed to the recipients described above.
12Children’s Privacy
The Site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information, contact us and we will take reasonable steps to delete it. Users under the age of majority in their jurisdiction should use the Site only with parent or guardian involvement.
13Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No system is completely secure. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for promptly notifying us of suspected unauthorized access.
14Third-Party Links, Embeds, and Data Sources
The Site may link to or embed content, data, scripts, maps, payment forms, analytics tools, social platforms, GitHub-hosted files, advertising tools, or other third-party resources. Those third parties may collect information directly from you and are governed by their own policies. We are not responsible for third-party practices.
15Do Not Track
Some browsers transmit “Do Not Track” signals. There is no uniform industry standard for these signals. We respond to legally recognized opt-out preference signals such as GPC where required.
16Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date shows when the policy was last revised. Material changes may be announced through the Site or other reasonable means. Continued use of the Site after an update means you acknowledge the updated policy.
